Academics offers an innovative curriculum-based program, Academics EDGE, for children between the age of 10 months to 10 years old. Academics EDGE is structured learning through investigation, experience, and purposeful play, that focuses on promoting the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child.
Our program is consistent, built upon scientific research, and modeled around internationally acclaimed and accepted teaching tools. Young children have a voracious appetite for learning. While no two children develop exactly the same way, there are specific periods where certain milestones are likely to be reached. The first five years of your child’s life are extremely important to your child’s development. This period is critical to their growth and well-being.
At Academics PreKindergarten in Richmond, we help your child get the best possible start with our Academics EDGE program. This structured learning licensed childcare program developed your child’s cognitive, social, physical, and emotional abilities and learn with their peers.
When learning is enjoyable, it establishes a foundation for future scholastic success. Your child will be actively engaged, their natural curiosity encouraged and developed, and their personal ideas and interests leveraged to make learning fun. The end result will be a child who loves to learn new things and has the skills needed for greater success in their future studies.
Our Academics EDGE program is a fun and engaging way to prepare your child for the years ahead, allowing them to practice and improve their cognitive skills and social abilities in a warm, supportive environment that prepares them for the years of education ahead of them.
Encouraging and rewarding the natural desire to learn that your child has at this young age will help to ensure future scholastic success. Our devoted staff will guide your child through both play and structured activities that will promote physical, mental, and emotional development, along with social skills in a secure and nurturing environment. For more information regarding how Academics PreKindergarten in Richmond can help your child, contact us today!

Hello, I am the Director of Academics Prekindergarten YVR location. I have been in the childcare education field for 10 years. I am a mom to a wonderful three year old son. I enjoy spending time with my family, going hiking, camping, and traveling. I graduated from Simon Fraser University and obtained my Infant and Toddler, Special Needs Certificate at Douglas College. I consider myself a curious, passionate, and versatile Life-longer learner. I chose Early childhood Education because I love working with children and watching them learn and grow every day. I am dedicated to building a welcoming, collaborative and grateful school for the Richmond community.

Hello! I’m a mother of three young children. I used to be a graphic designer and after having my own child, I started to study ECE at Sprott Shaw College. Through my studies, I have gained a better understanding of the growth of children and it made me realize that every child is unique.
In my spare time, I like creating artwork with my children. I believe creating art expands a child’s ability to interact with the world around them and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication.
I have had a lifelong desire to work with children, especially children with special needs. I’m very happy to be a part of Academics Prekindergarten family. It is my goal to create a quality daycare for everyone and serve our community.
