Unique program offerings.
At Academics Prekindergarten, classes are structured to optimize on the child’s interests and support their learning. Children are divided into their classes by the year they are born. Each age group has prescribed learning outcomes tailored to their developmental needs and growth. Our programs are as follows:
- Baby (10 months to 2 Years Old)
- PreK 1 (2 to 3 Years Old )
- PreK 2 (3 to 4 Years Old)
- PreK 3 (4 to 5 Years Old)
Flexible, Just Like You!
We currently offer full day programs for two, three, and five days a week. Drop-off and pick-up times are recommended, but parents have the flexibility to meet their personal schedules. We recommend that children attend school, for a maximum of eight hours each day for balance and wellness.
Fun-Filled Activities For The Children All Year Long.
We’re focused on providing a well-rounded experience for our students with exciting and fun filled activities planned throughout the year. These include spontaneous neighbourhood walks and on-site field trips. Through these our students are exposed to amazing teachable moments everyday. We also host our annual parent participation Father’s Day Barbeque, Mother’s Day tea and off site Pumpkin Patch Family field trip!
Children star in a large Winter Show production which combines public speaking, dance, song, and music. Our students prepare for months to display their talent and effort to their parents and peers. It is an opportunity to build self-confidence, learn to collaborate and experience success.
Our Graduation Ceremony, instills a sense of accomplishment as they head to Kindergarten. We prepare students for whatever their next educational experiences will throw at them. It is an occasion to celebrate their successes and support their growth.

4. Apply
Fill out all the forms on Bumblebee. Pay the application fee of $200. It would put your child on the waitlist. For registration, pay one month’s deposit and that would confirm the start date.

5. First Day of School!
Enroll. On the roster and assigned to the class.
We believe in uniforms.
We require all children 2 years old and up to be in uniform every day and our Babies to be in school colours. Having children in uniform encourages children, families and teachers to focus on learning at school. It reduces stress for families in the morning while dressing, especially as children start developing their individual identities. We want to teach children that what makes them truly unique are the ideas and thoughts they share.
Tuition Aid
Academics families may be eligible to receive a subsidy from the BC Provincial Government under the new Affordable Child Care Benefit.
The Affordable Child Care Benefit provides families up to $1,250 in monthly funding. For more information, click here.
All our BC-based facilities are Opt-In Centres, enrolled in the Tuition Reduction program which can reduce a students tuition by up to $350 a month. For more information, click here.

Academics PreKindergarten works closely with parents to understand each child’s unique needs. We know that every child learns differently and we ensure the learning plans benefit your child individually. You can rest assured that each student gets the attention they need!
We offer five programs, designed with specific age groups in mind:
- Baby
- PreK 1

We offer programs for children between the age range of 10 months and five years.

Academics Prekindergarten kindles your child’s creativity and intellect while at school. We communicate about his/her activities in school so you not only understand your child’s interests, but also their strengths. Communication is key to ensuring your child’s success. We provide you with detailed reports so you can continue to cultivate their talents, discuss their day and support their learning when they’re at home.
At home, play with your children! Engage and encourage them to enjoy every moment. Encourage your child’s curiosity, increase their focus and attention span, by helping them develop listening and problem-solving skills.
Our nutrition program is designed to provide a wholesome mean to help your child grow and meals are included in the tuition. Our chef prepares fresh breakfast, lunch, and snacks every day for your little ones. We strive to adhere to children’s dietary restrictions, such as vegan, gluten-free, and other diets.
The cost of sending your child to Academics PreKindergarten is based on the location – all BC locations accept subsidy and are Opt-In Tuition Reduction centers.
