Academics offers an innovative curriculum-based program, Academics EDGE, for children between the age of 10 months & 5 years old. Academics EDGE is structured learning through investigation, experience and purposeful play. We focus on promoting the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child. At Academics Prekindergarten, we are changing the way Daycare is delivered in Surrey. Preschool Lays The Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning
Your little one has many years of learning ahead. To get the most out of kindergarten and the years to follow, they will need to feel secure and comfortable in their learning environment. Our PreKindergarten & Daycare in South Surrey provides a secure, supportive experience that allows them to develop their social, intellectual and emotional skills alongside other children and teachers. During classroom time, your child will learn about relating to and interacting with others to develop their confidence as they build relationships. Our Academics EDGE program was created with Early Childhood Education experts from across the globe and addresses the needs of your child at each stage of development. This program is based on the latest scientific research from leaders in the field of childhood education to keep your child active and engaged.
Our fulltime daycare options stimulate and educate
Over the next few years, your child will increase their vocabulary from about 900 words to 2,500.
They will begin forming increasingly complex sentences and understand more advanced ideas. They will wonder how things work and why, will have an understanding of past and future events. Your child will actively seek answers to their questions. Our program will help your child develop their language and communication abilities while engaging in play, science, and art.
We are pleased to partner with Cambridge Uniforms. Cambridge Uniforms offers online shopping and direct shipping to homes. A sizing kit is available at school.
The Academics PreKindergarten South Surrey Online Access Code for the Cambridge Uniform Website is: ICS123
One complete Cambridge uniform package is mandatory for your child. This package will include:
- One shirt
- One rain jacket
- One sweatshirt
All other items will be optional.
Security deposit is required for enrollment each school year and is the cost of one month tuition per child. Our school year runs from July 1st to June 30th. The security deposit will be applied as tuition payment for the last month (June) of enrollment of the school year enrolled.
Our child has grown tremendously — not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
The curriculum strikes a perfect balance between structured learning and fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Communication with parents is excellent, and it’s clear that the staff truly care about every child’s progress and well-being. We receive regular verbal updates from the teachers, daily written updates with photos, weekly menus, and monthly newsletters.
We had such a positive experience in the first month, that we enrolled our youngest in as well. When our 18 month old had a struggle during the gradual entry process, the director and the teachers all worked with us to create an extended gradual entry plan. However, we didn’t end up needing it because our child was so comforted and nurtured in the environment. The child is the priority at this school.
The classrooms are bright, clean, and full of energy, and we love all the special events and projects that make the school year so memorable. We feel so grateful to have found this wonderful school — Academics Pre-Kindergarten Academy has given our children the best possible start to their educational journey!
